Never use "Fine Fabric Detergents" as they are not aggressive enough to remove stubborn stains. Instead, use a good quality, strong detergent and rinse well. It is highly encouraged to keep your Sunveil garment clean to maintain the fabric integrity. You may use a fabric liquid softener in the final rinse if desired, but avoid the oily "dryer sheet" variety.

When washing Hats/headwear: Inferior quality detergents, soil and dirt can possibly decrease the sun-reflective and absorptive properties of the fabric used in hats, so it is best to keep them as clean as possible. Stubborn stains will easily be removed with the many special cleaning products on the market. With proper care, your Sunveil wears exceedingly well and will consistently look smart as new, wash after wash.
