Sunveil Sunwear Apparel is a smart-style marvel designed for many years of outdoor enjoyment. Here's how: Despite its fine quality and light countenance – the Sunveil 600 series fabric is very tough and durable. A single strand of yarn is so strong that when grasped - it can "pull an average sized adult on roller blades" (!) Because it is a colourfast polyester based polymer-resin, it is chlorine resistant, enabling one to wear confidently around the pool.

However, like many fabrics - lighter colours may develop some yellow discolouration over time from chlorine residue, if not washed with detergent within 24 - 36 hours after use. We also recommend that if you wear a sunscreen lotion while wearing Sunveil – the item should be well washed with a strong detergent within 24 - 48 hours to prevent discolouration or oil stains from the catalyst reactive chemical ingredients in these lotions.

All Sunveil apparel is best washed by hand or separately on "gentle" machine cycle. No need to put in the dryer! Before washing - be sure to close all Velcro closures (if any) For all products, we recommend washing in HOT water, then a final COOL rinse. Hats should be Hand-Washed only, and drip dry then re-block to shape. Set on a table to dry. A light pressing with an iron on medium setting is acceptable for touch-up. After washing, all clothing is best to drip dry on a hangar only. If travelling - roll in a towel & Sunveil is usually ready for use again in only 15 - 20 minutes!
